A biennial contemporary benefit art fair

ARTcetera started in 1985, and remains one of Boston’s best occasions for art acquisition and one of the city’s best parties. International talent and the finest art institutions and curators contribute work to this important cause. Together with the dedicated curatorial committee, we bring together intrepid entrepreneurs, bright new art world stars, and top philanthropists to support AIDS Action.

Continuing a legacy of change

Founded in 1985, by a collective of activist and artists in response to the AIDS epidemic, the legacy of ARTcetera continues to benefit AIDS Action in their mission of getting to zero deaths, zero new infections and zero stigma by 2030.

Collect with intention

Our challenge, as curatorial director was to expand the artistic palette of the event. Exciting budding and seasoned collectors to support, collect and engage with the mission and artworks.

“The “it” gala for art-loving philanthropists…

this biennial soiree features a stellar auction of contemporary art…Naturally, the objets d’art aren’t the only sculpted visions to behold at this black-tie fete, where aspiring arts-world sensations schmooze their way amid the dandy and gadabout crowd...”

#COLLECTWITHINTENTION

AIDS Action is New England’s largest provider of services to people living with HIV/AIDS and populations at risk of infection. AIDS Action leads the state’s Getting To Zero Coalition, which seeks to reduce the number of HIV infections to zero and operates a needle exchange that serves as an entry point to healthcare services for active substance users.
